What does your cleaning service do?
Cleans everything, wipes down baseboards, changes sheets, washes dishes if we leave them in the sink

What do you need to have done before they get there?
I just straighten up and put stuff away so they can dust, etc. Also lay out clean sheets

$90 every other Friday

How big is your house?
1800 sq ft, 4 bedrooms (one is the office) and 3 full baths (one is in the guest room and hardly gets used)

Do you provide cleaning products or do they bring it?
They provide it all

What does your cleaning service do?
She cleans everything I ask her to. Usually it's heavy duty stuff like the fridge. We use an individual person which I prefer to a service because they are more likely to be ok with the heavy stuff.

What do you need to have done before they get there?
Nothing but I pick up stuff so it's not a disaster area.

Flat $125, once a month. She stays about 4-5 hours. I pay her more than average because it is always heavy duty cleaning.

1000 sq feet? 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, but I never have her clean my bedroom since I'm working in it.

We provide everything.

3100 sq feet, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath. She doesn't clean the top floor (1 full bath and carpeted playroom), so she's really cleaning 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths.. closer to 2000 sq feet.

How did you all find your cleaning services/lady?

I just got a quote from a corporate service and they said $150 biweekly for two ladies, 3 hours total for a 3K+ sq ft home.

$3-400 for an initial deep clean (6-8 hours)

it's one lady, plus sometimes her MIL too. she cleans the whole house: floors, dusts, microwave, fridge, sheets, dishes, etc. if she has extra time, she'll organize the patio storage or our shoe bin.

nothing. she does whatever needs to be done. if there are piles of stuff, she either works around them or organizes (like she folds our clothes)

we provide the cleaning products/rags. she brings her vacuum because we don't have a stand up.

we don't tip except for the holidays/if it's a last minute thing. we leave her check each time. and i found her through a rec from a friend.

We provide the cleaning supplies but they bring their own vacuum, mop, etc.

Dusts, vacuums, steam mops, cleans bathrooms and cleans all surfaces.

We tidy up so there's nothing left on surfaces that need to be cleaned and we do all the stuff we normally do to keep our house somewhat tidy, like make the beds.

She makes and brings all her own green cleaning products.

She cleans all the rooms apart from our box room. I don't think she does much deep cleaning, but she does do the inside of the microwave, which I love. She does dishes if they're in the sink and if I ask her to clean something specific she will.

Nothing, but I try to tidy up so she can spend her time cleaning rather than tidying.

$75 a fortnight. She would have charged an extra 10 if we'd gone monthly instead.
