I'd like to give my daughter's teachers little thank you gifts at Thanksgiving time. I'm good with the woman teacher but I'm stumped on the guy. I know he's a big sports fan and know his teams. What would you give a male teacher as a thank you gift?
Oh, I forgot to mention, he specifically asked us not to buy him treats/sweets. He loves them but he's trying to lose weight.

DD had a male teacher last year and we always got him gift cards (target, amazon) and snacks/treats.

My husband's a teacher and usually gets gift cards. One for Stub Hub could be nice - he could put it towards a game or concert. He's also gotten travel mugs - maybe pair one with a Starbucks card?

I normally do gift cards at holidays/end of the year BUT for a thank you token, a pretty cool idea a friend has was to do "personalized" lego minifigures of the teachers. So if he likes sports, choosing a minifig with the same colour hair and some sports props would be cute! I thought it was thoughtful and sweet! They have the build-it-yourself minifig bar at lego stores!

Tervis tumbler or yeti cup featuring one of his teams...normally i'd fill with a treat or a Starbucks giftcard, but given his situation maybe something healthy you know he likes (nuts?), a generic gift card like Target or iTunes.

If you are giving a gift card and want it to be more substantial, you can find things on amazon that are puzzle gift card holders.

My husband is a teacher and he LOVES his contigo coffee mug, it keeps your coffee hot for hours and it doesn't spill. That is what we will do for our daycare teacher gifts this year.
