Nope!
Couldn't do it, made it partway through the first bit and then hit that X to close the window. Don't need to cry for something legitimate after I almost cried for something ridiculous this morning.

DH's grandma gave us a book with a similar theme: http://www.amazon.com/Let-Me-Hold-You-Longer/dp/1414389876/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413764849&sr=8-1&keywords=let+me+hold+you+longer+by+karen+kingsbury
It even gets to DH!

Even though I find it to be a beautifully written poem, with a heartfelt sentiment... It totally sends my mom guilt into overdrive. Like I shouldn't ever feel guilty for being frustrated at mealtime and stuff, since someday it'll be over.
I know LO will grow up, but I'm only human. Sometimes I get really frustrated a lot of the things mentioned.

@Applesandbananas: I get frustrated too. But I kept it on my phone to help me *to* feel the mom guilt once in awhile if that makes sense? Like I think some days, yea, I need time to veg on my phone while she plays...but some days I definitely should feel guilty about refreshing Facebook ten times because *I'm* bored. If that makes any sense? Lol. Sounds easier in my head

@Mae: I had this thought too. My mom would think I was nuts though.

@sorrycharlie: being sleep deprived probably isn't helping, but seriously sitting here bawling. That is so sweet, definitely need reminders like that!

@sorrycharlie: yeah, i totally get your idea. i allow myself to get frustrated, but i also want to try to be in the moment. this poem reminds me of our last week of BFing. we were down to once a day before bedtime, sometimes every other. for some reason that week she was super fussy and grumpy, so i decided to try to nurse her midmorning and she did and then fell asleep. i sat there for a bit like the newborn days and let her rest. i even took a picture because i thought, this NEVER happens anymore! later that week, i tried to make our "last time" special but she nursed her for a minute and then asked for books before bedtime. each of those times was what they were supposed to be, so i'm glad i soaked up that time that she REALLY needed me in that way.

This is exactly how I felt when P weaned. Just one day she was done and I will never ever forget our last nursing session. Babies don't keep!!
