1. the inability to push in a drawer (his dresser drawers are always open, drives me nuts)
2. Ask "do we have..." before looking
3. Thinks $40 for a shirt is too much but has no problem spending that on a basketball ticket for one night

How we can have lived in this house almost a year, and together for almost 6, and he can still never figure out where things go in the kitchen. I always use the same basic configuration, and what goes in say, the baking drawer, has never changed! It's not like he never cooks, or rarely does dishes. Emptying the dishwasher is my least favorite thing to do, so he's always been in charge of it when he wasn't working crazy hours. But I still have to hunt for things every time.

I can't understand why they have to be the one controlling the remote control.

@Caly: My dad's the same way. If I fall asleep on the couch, DH wakes me up and gets me to go to bed.

@PrincessBaby: Do we have the same husband?! Mine loves listening to music at FULL VOLUME and gets annoyed if I suggest headphones or a lower volume. "Why bother even listening to music if it can't be loud," he says. I think our stereo has volume that goes up to like 25 or something. He likes 22. If I ask him to turn it down he goes to 20 and gets huffy when I tell him that he didn't actually do anything, ha.

And I'm gonna throw this out there, this is the stereo he pines over and wants displayed in the living room front and center, OMG NO. Right now I use the "we live in a small space and there's nowhere to put it" excuse BUT what will I do when we move AHHHH!!!

How they can spend their quiet time in the bathroom taking a dump for super long. I just want to get out of their ASAP.

+1 on the stereo equipment to make the TV go Boom! Blast! And in general be LOUD! +1 on "do we have?" Without even attempting to learn where stuff is or first look. +1 on being the main chef because my stuff tastes better. Yeah okay. +1 on opening a drawer or cabinet and not closing it. The kitchen, bathroom, and dressers look like Paranormal Activity.

I will never understand why he walks through the house and runs on all the lights. He leaves the room and leaves the lights on.

I will never understand why he insists on keeping the TV on and letting it just go to sleep mode instead of turning it off when it's bedtime.

Why don't the socks ever make it to the hamper? I find his dirty socks in the most random places. In the couch cushions...under the kitchen breakfast bar....on the floor on his side of the bed. Sometimes they even get put on top of the hamper, but not actually in it. But very rarely in the hamper.
