Natural light, different angles, make sure your top is tucked under your boobs to create a good outline of your bump (instead of going from the top of your boobs to your bump without going in to your ribs). Biggest one is a clean background! Don't have a bunch of junk around you distracting from you! It can be pretty but clean and uncluttered is key.

@laughlines did some really cute ones, against a plain wall and same outfit every time but with a small prop depending on the occasion, eg a party hat around new years, a paint brush the week they decorated the nursery

@bluestriped bee: It doesn't have to be tucked into the bra, but more follow the line of your boobs if that makes sense!

I took mine in whatever I was wearing that day and use my dSLR on a tripod with a remote shutter. I took them against the one blank wall in the house (although you can see a coat rack above my head, haha).

I did them all in my bedroom wearing the same thing (white tee and a pair of yoga pants with a pink fold over waist.

I don't have a full set of weeks, but enough to see the progression. My husband did one of those progression photos in Illustrator and had it printed.

Mine was whatever I was wearing that day! I moved the location around the house and finally settled in front of the white door of the nursery. That's about it! No chalkboars or anything.

@bluestriped bee: I did it in whatever I was wearing that day. I think it might be cool to look back at my maternity clothes!

One thing we did on accident that ended up being so cool was taking the pictures in the room we ended up using at the nursery. So as the weeks go by you see art going up on the walls, the crib going up, bags of toys on the floor from the showers, etc.

I used a beautiful mess app as well. Always took them next to a fairly blank canvas. Typically a plain wall in my house or brick outside. A coupl if we were out and about have nature-ish backgrounds. I always wore a different outfit. In every pic!

I just take them in whatever I'm wearing that day and almost all of them have been selfies in my bathroom mirror at work. Here's my most recent one as an example:
