Sadly I had a chemical pregnancy early last week ( believe I was only 3-4 weeks pregnant). My Dr told me I can try again this cycle because it was so early when I had the chemical. Anyone have a normal cycle after having a chemical? I am using OPKs and this morning I had a solid smiley face which is SO early im only 8 days after my AF/chemical…usually I ovulate on day 17. Just wondering anyone else have this experience and were able to conceive

I am so sorry for your loss.
I had a chemical in July last summer, and my OB said we could try again right away. We did, and I got pregnant on that cycle, but had another chemical.
Then I was told to wait at least three months to TTC, and I even went back on the pill. Our game plan was to see the RE, and the pill would prevent pregnancy and regulate my cycle.
I had a third chemical in November and my RE let us try again right away. I'm 18w along now!

I had two early losses and both times my cycle went straight back to normal. Have you taken an HPT lately to make sure that your levels went back to zero? If not, it could be why you got a smiley so early.

@mrs.someone -got my levels checked last thurs and HCG was at 1 ( going again this thurs) but with my OPKs I was doing it since last week and was the big 0 and then this morning was a smiley...so confusing!

I had a chemical the month before my sticky pregnancy (very faint line, followed by period being about 3 days late). My next cycle was completely normal.

So sorry to hear this! I had a chemical in the beginning of November and had a very normal cycle immediately after. My second cycle after got us our sticky (so far - 16 weeks) BFP.

@mtex14: in August, my levels dropped to 2 and then I never got a period. I guess that's another reason why I went back on the pill!

I had a chemical last month and ovulated around the same time this month (I chart and use the CBE monitor). I'm now in the TWW. This cycle was just like all the others despite the chemical. Good luck!

My first cycle after my chemical, I Oed later than usual - CD35 instead of CD20 or so.

We tried right away the cycle following a chemical. My cycle was relatively normal for me. I ovulated on CD24, which is late, but within my normal range. One thing I did notice, since I chart, is that my body seemed to gear up to ovulate (unsuccessfully) around CD 15. It took us several more cycles to successfully conceive again.
ETA: I'm so sorry for your loss. It's not easy, even when it is an early loss.

I'm so sorry about your loss.
I had an early MC (5-6 weeks) and as soon as my hormones dropped to 0 I Oed. I thought it was early, but my doc said it was normal.

Thank you ladies for all your input and encouraging words! That def helps me! I am so sorry for all of you that have also gone through a chemical pregnancy!
The good thing is it seems most were able to get pregnant right after or soon after!
