If you miscarried naturally (not a D&C), how long did it take for your bleeding to stop? And how long did it take for your cycle to regulate back to normal? Just curious about others' experiences.

I had a D&C and a chemical, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. It really, really sucks and I wish you healing and comfort.

@Coral: thank you so much I'm sorry for your losses, too.
How long did it take your cycles to regulate after the D&C?

@theotherstark: since you asked the other question, I had a D&E in early November. Had little to no bleeding until exactly a week later, which my dr guessed was actually the start of my cycle. Exactly 28 days later I got my period (Dec 8th), and then a positive pregnancy test a month after that. So my body regulated to normal very quickly.
Thinking of you

@theotherstark: oh no I didn't realize you had miscarried So very sorry!! After my first, it took me 6 weeks to get my period. After my others my cycle went right back to normal. Thinking of you!!

So sorry you are going through this. I had a natural miscarriage this summer at 8 weeks. I stopped bleeding about a week after the bleeding started, and I got my period exactly 4 weeks after the first day of bleeding (ie 3 weeks after I stopped bleeding). I got pregnant that first cycle after the mc.

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and it took about five days for the bleeding to stop. I got my first period exactly one month after the MC.
I'm now in the TWW after that first period and everything seems relatively normal.
So sorry you're going through this

I had a mc at 8 weeks but I think we had lost the pregnancy at around 6 weeks. I got my period 32 days after I started bleeding. (Bleeding lasted just under a week). I had a 28 day cycle at that point, typically.
My early losses (CP's) have not changed my cycle.

Sorry for your loss.
My CP did not change my cycle and we conceived a viable pregnancy on the second cycle after the loss.
My natural M/C started just after 6w. I bled for more than 2.5 weeks. I ovulated about a week after the bleeding stopped and I'm in the TWW now.

@theotherstark: Thank you. I believe it was 5-6 weeks and it was pretty much what the doctor told me would happen (I had the D&C August 11th and AF was back September 24th.) That cycle, I got pregnant with my son and had a perfectly uneventful pregnancy.
I hope this time passes for you very quickly. The waiting adds insult to injury.

So sorry for your loss
I had a missed MC at 10 weeks and took the medication to induce miscarriage. It took about 7 weeks for things to return to normal and then I got pregnant with DD on my first cycle.

@theotherstark: I'm so sorry for your loss. I miscarried at 7 weeks naturally and bled for about a week. Then I got my period 5 weeks to the day of when my MC occurred.

I'm sorry for your loss.
I mc at 6w2d after spotting off & on for almost a week. I bled for several days & then my cycle was normal (28 days) right away & we conceived our DD 3 months later.

I am so very sorry about your loss.
I had an early miscarriage in January at approximately 6 weeks, and stopped seeing red after 7 days (my normal periods are about 5 days). I have some signs of ovulation this week so expect AF to be back after 35 days. That's pretty normal for me though as I have long cycles.

So sorry for your loss.
I've had two early (6 and 6.5 weeks) miscarriages and two chemical pregnancies. My cycle has returned to normal immediately each time, right back to my usual 28 day cycle. I've also conceived that cycle immeadiately after 3 times. Once was my pregnancy with my daughter, once was my first chemical, and once was my current, so far successful, pregnancy.
My first miscarriage had a lot of bleeding. I bled for 11 days. With my second miscarriage I bled for 8 days.

So sorry for your loss
I had a d/c early February, and noticed after my cycles were very short (23 days). I believe I had a chemical in May, then got pregnant in June. I'm May I went to my ob and asked for progesterone to lengthen my cycle. It worked - second cycle I got pregnant.
If I weren't older, or working on my second, and concerned about age spacing, I may have been ok with giving my body more time to return to normal - but I wanted to be pro-active.
Good luck to you!

@theotherstark: So sorry for your loss, <hugs>. I found out at 8.5 wks I would miscarry. I decided to wait and spotting started at 10wks and finally miscarried at 11.5 wks. I spotted for a 2-4 days afterwards. AF came back 4 weeks later.
