@LCTBQE: I didn’t think about that. I like the name as is and wouldn’t use a NN. Larry is kind of silly, I have an uncle who goes by Larry.

What about Walter? I was surprised with how much I liked the name, but I haven't been able to sell my husband on it. Doesn't seem to be anywhere near the top 100!

@LCTBQE: @lamariniere: I always think Laurie (a la the boy next door in Little Women) for Lawrence rather than Larry. Although honestly I doubt I’d use any nn; I like Lawrence.

@jbean: Use what you love! When I hear Ren, I think Wren, which sounds much more feminine. I personally would just use Lawrence since I don't like any of the nicknames.
