@pinkcupcake: my baby currently sleeps in the master bathroom...

Legally that can't be a bedroom because in a fire there needs to be two ways to leave (usually a door and a window). Is it really close to your room? I would be ok with having a baby in a room like that attached to the master but not further away where potentially I couldn't get there.

DH had an apartment where his room was the "office"- closet but no window. It had central ac but sometimes would turn off at night and get super stuffy in his room. If you kept the door open it wouldn't be an issue I guess.

Short answer, no I wouldn't move into an apartment like that. If I was already there I would try to make it work for a while.

I have no idea about ventilation but I rarely open DD window. You could run the fan from outdoors if the room is stuffy. I love only having one wall of 4 with windows- we moved her from a room that had windows on two walls and it was impossible to keep dark.

Our newborn sleeps in my walk in closet half the time and I run a fan in there for white noise and air circulation and it works out fine for us. I always put my kids to sleep in the dark so windowless rooms are fine with me. So I guess my answer would be sure!

@pinkcupcake: we leave the door cracked for ventilation and sometimes run the bathroom fan, both for air flow and extra white noise. It's really nice and dark in there for her, which is nice because we have a bunch of huge windows in our room and mediocre black out curtains.

Like @lamariniere: said I think it's fine for short term but won't be a long term solution. So depends how long you would want to stay. That said sometimes you have to get creative!!

DD slept in an "office" that was about 8x8 in our first apartment with her. I always left the door open so I could hear her anyway so I wasn't worried about ventilation. It should be fine while baby is little!
