I am looking at starting my daughters big girl room soon. Hopefully we will leave the nursery as is for #2.
I want something not too girly and not too baby-ish. We are planning on white furniture.

Have you taken a look at Restoration Baby & child? They have stuff that looks more grown up than say, Pottery Barn Kids.

@T.H.O.U.: we started with a quilt that my cousin made and took the colors from there. I have a few more DIY projects to finish but then I will try to put a better picture up.
