My sister is turning 21 this month so we are planning a trip to Vegas soon!
I haven't been to Vegas since I was 16 so I have no idea on the best places to stay. We'd like to stay on the Strip but don't need to spend a lot of money since we won't remember most of our time there 
Also, we plan on going to the Chippendales show one night. Any other recommendations (bars, clubs, restaurants, etc)?

I love the elara! It's technically off strip and doesn't have a casino but it's a short walk to the planet Hollywood casino, it's hands down my favorite place to stay in vegas. They're suites are spectacular and usually reasonable, for the strip at least

@mrskansas: we've stayed there several times and it's always so fun. The rooms also have projector screens for movies and full size fridges
Eta we went to Vegas 3 months ago and the strip hotels all now charge 20 a night for parking, on top of resort fees. Not sure if the elara does this but for sure worth checking ahead

@mrskansas: i love aria and vdara... not sure how many girls are going but ive gotten 1 bedroom suites upgrades really easily at the vdara. they r both right next to city center so super easy to get around! if you are flying in, i would just take a shuttle to the hotel on the strip and uber/cab around if u need too.. driving in vegas is no fun! favorite brunch is bouchon on the weekends! check out beauty and essex for dinner!

I love Aria which is in City Center (connected to cosmo, across street from planet Hollywood). Th Chainsmokers play at Hakkasan...its on my list of things to do. It doesn't matter a whole lot where you stay if it's in the center.
