On our flights to the Philippines I watched Grand Budapest Hotel, Her, Wolf of Wall Street, Divergent, The Other Woman, and Noah.
I liked Grand Budapest Hotel best!

@Mrs. Bee: what did you think of Her? I found it very odd but definitely something that could happen in the future.
Do you like Marvel Comics movies? We saw Guardians of the Galaxy and I was really surprised that I liked it. 
I haven't seen them yet but on my want to see list are The Hundred Foot Journey and Into the Storm.
I see that the book turned movie If I Stay is in theaters. I am staying far away from that one. It has a trigger topic for me (losing family).

I'm not really into comic movies but I watch a fair share because Mr. Bee likes them. They are entertaining!

I've heard Guardians of the Galaxy was really good. Bad Words was hilarious.
We just recently saw TMNT and we both really enjoyed it!

did you like Wolf on Wall Street? We almost rented it last weekend but chose the monuments men instead. It was alright, it didn't hold my attention very well

@Mrs. Pen: Wolf on Wall Street was very......graphic?? It wasn't one of my favorites, and I think they could have tamed it down a tad. I mean I get, they were trying to make an image, but...I thought it was a bit over kill!
I loved the movie Her! What a crazy concept, but like @mediagirl: said, I can see that happening in the future! I thought the movie was filmed in an awesome way too.

Most of the movies i saw lately were on video, but i really enjoyed them! American Hustle, Dallas Buyers Club and Silver Linings Playbook.

i saw a very edited version on the plane so i suspect the r version is much more graphic. it's not something i ever would have watched on my own, but my choices on the plane were limited.

We just watched life of pi (i know behind the times) and i loved it the imagery was fantastic and the story really sticks with you. The lego movie was AWESOME!!! I liked Guardians i was a little reluctant to go see it but Chris Pratt is yummy

@Mrs. Bee: I watched Divergent recently, too! I was surprised that I liked it because I was really thinking that I wouldn't. Did you also read the books? DH said that he thinks if people haven't read the books they are probably less likely to enjoy the movie because the pacing is a bit fast.

@dreamocracy: yes i read the entire trilogy in the philippines! the first book was great and so much happens in it. it's hard to love a movie after you read the book usually because the book is always so much better!

I just watched The Giver. It was pretty good but not over the top. I had high expectations because people raved about the book. Long story short but I missed the last hour of Divergent so I am looking forward to the ending.
I loved God's Not Dead and would watch it again. It is for everyone.
For adults, Wolf and Her were very good. As for kid movies, I liked Lego and Planes Fire and Rescue.

@.twist.: I haven't seen the preview but I have heard of the book. I think it is more similar to Hunger Games but definitely in the same dystopian fiction genre!

@dreamocracy: i know the reviews said not to read the last book, but i had to finish the series. it was overall quite enjoyable! i haven't read the hunger games... i tend to read fun books like that when i'm traveling.

@.twist.: I saw the preview to Maze Runner which looked so fascinating I went on to read the whole plot online last night. I couldn't take the suspense. It is different but similar in that it is post apocalyptic starring young adults/ teens.

We saw Guardians of the Galaxy last weekend and I loved it! I think I laughed harder than anyone in the theatre, which DH attributed to my appreciating it more since we haven't been to the movies in a while. But it really was funny!

I'm behind the times, but I just saw 21 Jump Street--omg funny! Much funnier than I expected. I can't wait to see the sequel

Totally off topic but @mrs.bee so nice to go on a movie date! Hubs and I have been sneaking off to go see some summer movies every few weeks this summer while MIL watches DS. Such a nice feeling. Have fun!
