What are your go-to snacks? Bonus points if you give actual brands. Like not just crackers but XYZ brand crackers.
I'm in a rut.

My go to snacks are:
A cut up cucumber, handful of baby carrots, and two hard boiled eggs.
A banana with peanut butter
An apple with peanut butter
A sliced green pepper with guacamole
A serving of kashi go lean cereal with milk
I tend to pick two of these for each week and alternate them.

I really like Stacy's Bagel Chips. When I am feeling traditional, I like Cheese-its and Smartfood popcorn! I bought some spicy cashews (emerald brand) recently for a flight, my husband and I were obsessed with them!
I also like either string cheese or those baby-bel cheeses.
Other than that, no snack foods. Just fruits, vegetables, hard boiled eggs, sometimes almond butter. I eat really well during the day during the week, but I do tend to hit the snack foods at night when watching TV or on the weekends.

Fruit, raw veggies, lightly salted trailmix (no chocolate), popcorn (skinny pop).

Today I was bad-chips and chocolate chips. I can't buy snack foods I have no willpower.
When I'm good:
Boiled egg cut up
Veggies and hummus
Apple with peanut butter
A yoghurt
Crunchmaster crackers from Costco. Tasty enough to eat solo or wth cheese, peanut butter, hummus, etc.
ETA. Skinny pop the lightly salted popcorn. I love it and don't feel guilty!

Right now I'm on a diet for my brother's wedding (ugh) so I'm doing:
- Chocolate Orgain shakes
- Hard boiled eggs with Tony Cacheres Creole seasoning
- Light cheese sticks
- Blue Diamond wasabi soy almonds
- Wonderful lightly salted pistachios
- Green apple slices with Tajin seasoning sprinkled on top
- True Lemon peach lemonade packets
- Veggies
- The 100 calorie popcorn bags from Orville Reddenbacher
When I'm not on a diet:
- Hot and Spicy cheezits
- Dried unsweetened mango and pineapple from Trader Joe's
- Everything pretzel slims dipped in hummus (Tribe roasted red pepper is my fave of all time)
- Honeycomb cereal
- Yogurt
- Chocolate ice cream
- Keebler peanut butter crackers
- Jif natural PB

Nothing until I get to be starving then I shovel down a cheese stick, or cheetos or cookies TBH.

@misolee: mmm the tomato basil ones (they're either lentil or black bean) in the harvest crisp line are soooo good!

@youboots: this is me 100%. It's the entire reason that I made this post ha ha. I won't eat anything including meals until I feel like I'm gonna faint and then I'm like oh crap I should eat something and it's something easy and terrible.
This is why the days that I have a babysitter like once or twice a week for a couple of hours I always make a meal my priority. I'll sit down and have a real salad or something.

Fage yogurt, specifically the cherry ones
Luna bars - especially Nutz over chocolate
Monster Trail Mix from Archer Farms (Target brand - lots of chocolate so not exactly healthy)
Cashews
Almonds
Wallaby vanilla yogurt with grapes, strawberry slices or banana slices with granola
Apple slices

@SweetiePie: My favorite quick snack/lunch is a tortilla wrap with some cheese thrown on there and some lunch meat if we have it. If I have extra time I put it in a pan to make it crispy, if not, just the microwave and roll it up. You can even do cold if you like cream cheese.

@SweetiePie: I'm partial to a toad in the hole for a quick breakfast.
My problem is I like fancy/exciting food and don't like wasting calories on boring food. Which is hard to do when I'm taking care of a toddler. So I end up eating junk. You just reminded me I got veggie wontons from Costco were really great. Good tasty healthy ish lunch.

@youboots: We are the same person. My husband makes fun of me because I like really exciting food and making a PBJ or turkey sandwich just isn't appealing to me so I just don't eat. I don't even need fancy food but a great food truck or something is fine. When I worked I ate every day because I could always find something around the city. But stuck in my home for lunch during nap time and I end up starving myself.

@SweetiePie: yup pretty much. By fancy I mean not fridge to mouth. Not expensive (that's fine too though) but tasty. I should say special. I make nice dinners every night or we go out.
On vacation do you plan your whole trip around food when you can? New Orleans was my favorite food city ever.
Also food trucks are my faaaaave

I've been trying to pack carrots and babybel cheese so I have a healthy snack at work. Otherwise I'm tempted to get M&Ms or Cheetos from the vending machine! I also like way better chips!
@youboots - you are my twin! I always plan trips around food and spend time looking up good eats in the area.
@gingerbee - how are orgrain shakes? Do you buy the powder or ready to drink? I've been making smoothies using almond milk and naked whey in the morning, but I'm looking for something different!

Lately, I have been eating CostCo Kirkland brand Kind-style bars (they have less sugar than regular Kind bars for some reason), Kashi Almond Snickerdoodle nut butter bars, tortilla chips and single serving guac cups from CostCo, or pre-cut fruit (also from CostCo).
Wow. I have a CostCo problem hahaha.

Usually hard boiled eggs, trail mix (Wegmans raw Almonds, raisins, pumpkins/sunflower seeds, banana chips), green smoothies (spinach, water, banana and another random fruit or two), Wegmans organic deli turkey roll ups, Wegmans uncured deli ham, Larabar, apple w/ almond or peanut butter, smashed avocado w/ pepper strips, Vega protein shake, sweet potato w/ chopped banana, chia seeds and almond butter, and homemade granola.

@caterw - those kashi nut butter bars are amazing! I get the snickerdoodle and the salted chocolate chunk!
