Love it? Hate it?
I'm starting to warm up to it a bit and am thinking of maybe purchasing a sweater like this! But I also live in a warmer climate so that makes it a bit more practical of a purchase for me than for someone who live somewhere colder.

I think it looks ok, but it's not for me. I think it will look dated in a few years and I try to only buy things that will last for years. I do like the complete off the shoulder look though.

I like it, but it depends on the particular top. I wouldn't actually wear one in cold weather (well, maybe under a coat). But I had a cute top I wore this past summer and really liked.

Mine was really similar to this. Kind of sexy without really showing anything! Perfect mom-going-out top

I think it looks pretty weird - I just don't get it. I also tend to take about two years to warm up to trends (skinny jeans are stupid! I'll never wear tall boots! Leggings aren't pants!) so who knows, maybe in 2018 my closet will be full of them.

I like off shoulder look, but not really into this cold shoulder look!

Not a fan, personally. I seem to like fewer and fewer fashion trends as I get deeper into my 30s though!

I didn't like it the first time around, so no again!
I think it looks really good in certain scenarios, like in a dress for a night out.

I have a cardigan like this. It's inspired by Rey from Star Wars so it's not designed that way because of the trend.

I think it's cute, but definitely not practical! Especially if you live in a colder area.

I bought a cold shoulder dress and I like it a lot. I agree that it can add some sexy without showing anything which works for my mommy bod. Trying to add a picture of it but my computer is being weird. I don't like it as much in casual sweaters (I don't hate it either though) but for dressy, I like it.

Not for me. I would freeze to death! I generally wear a scarf when temperatures drop, even indoors. This makes me shiver just looking at it!

Not a fan, but I do like the sweater you posted
@erinbaderin: lol you just described me - I said all those things and now wear all those things.
I just finally bought first pair of booties last week too

@erinbaderin: I'm the same!
I tried a cold shoulder shirt when I was pregnant. Wore it 2x. Hated it. It's just not me. I'm not trendy.

@Mrs. Sunshine: I like it on others but haven't tried one myself
Where is that sweater from?

@erinbaderin: This made me laugh so hard. This describes me exactly. I'm getting booties this Christmas and I like to think the fact that the trend is only about a year old reflects that I am getting more open to new things.
To answer the question, I don't like it, but talk to me in 1-2 years. I don't like change very much

It's not my style.. but I think it's because I get so cold easily! I wear at least 2 or 3 layers in winter!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
Yup! I've worn it a few times and like it a lot. More so with summer tops/dresses.

I don't get it at all. Sorry to be a party pooper! Wear a tank top, or wear long sleeves...I just think the random shoulder cut outs are ugly.

@erinbaderin: Haha! This is so me. I just started wearing skinny jeans last year.

I have this shirt from almost 10 years ago . Is this back in style? Lol.

It looks great on other people, especially my best friend, but I look like a fool in it.

@ShootingStar: I guess so! Rumor is, the 90's are back, so why not 2006? lol
pomelo / 5866 posts
I like it but I thought it was already going out of style as I got mine in 2011.
