My DH suggested it to me the other night, for a future boy. He got it from Korben Dallas from Fifth Element
What do you think? I'm undecided. On one hand I really like it - it's different but not too spacey! - but I don't know what we would call (future) him for short....
Do you know anyone with that name?

I love it! I don't know about nickname ideas though which would throw me a bit too. I haven't met anyone with that name but there is an older actor by that name which is where I first heard it.

It's ok. Don't love it, don't hate it. I much prefer the spelling of Corbin, though.

I've been trying to convince my DH to like this name! But he doesn't like it because of the Fifth Element reference (which is actually why I love it). I don't know anyone IRL with that name.
ETA: I actually prefer it spelled Korben, again because of the Fifth Element. I have no idea why I'm so in love with that movie, lol

I like the Corbin spelling best. For NNs, I had a boss who went by Corby. Not even sure what his full name is (maybe that's it, haha). He was a fun guy, a little eccentric -- in a good way 
Eta: just looked up the name, it's Latin and means "raven." That's pretty cool!

Isn't there a Disney person with that name? I like it, don't love it, but it's unique without being weird.

I like the name! It's different but not weird. There's an older actor, Corbin Bernsen; that's who I thought of.

I like it. I much prefer the Corbin spelling, as I think Korben would constantly be misspelled.
I would just use Corbin on its own, but I would use the nickname "Ben" if I had to choose a nn.

Seriously, the first thing I thought was Korben Dallas! This was quickly followed by me thinking, Leilou Dallas, MultiPass. I love that friggin' movie. I also like the spelling Corbin must better.

I babysat a Corbin for years. It's not my favorite, but I do think it hits the mark of different but not strange. I prefer the C to the K.

@Cherrybee: My favorite movie. "Korben, Korben, my man!" I can only hear Chris Tucker's voice saying that name, though!

It reminds me of the city in KY (because I have family from there) so to me it sounds like a "southern" type name.
Eh, I don't hate it, but I don't like it either. It's just meh to me personally, but I definitely like the Corbin spelling better.
