DH and I are headed for a little getaway to Puerto Vallarta. I've been to PV 2x before and other parts of Mexico another 2x and have never been sick from the food, but am a little more nervous this go around what with being 20 weeks pregnant.

Obviously I'll be sticking with bottled water, but does anyone have any suggestions for other foods to avoid? Should I be even more careful than I normally am and not eat salads, cut fruits, etc?

If you've been to Mexico while pregnant -- what did you do on the food front?

Eta -- we will be staying at a really nice, luxury resort and eating most of our meals there. Perhaps just one or two outside the resort.
