Sleeping and possibly teethIing already at 4 months. Argh.

Grandparents. Always the grandparents. As in, they have no respect for our choices. Just one example: we told them we didn't want LO watching TV before the age of 2 (she's 8 months old). We have since found out that they sit her in front of Disney Junior every time we leave her with them. What can we do except supervise her visits (which itself would cause WWIII)?

-Tantrums when he sees something in a store and can't have it

He is so fun right now though too! so it more than evens out

The one that's on my mind right now is how to break the paci habit. I was hoping LO would give it up in her own lolol ok self...

General discipline - she is still generally so good but she is in such a contrary phase right now. Everything is "not x"... I'll say "You are such a good friend!" And she'll say "I not a good friend!"

Also, she is in a phase of not liking kids she doesn't know. She used to be so good at sharing and being kind with everyone but now she glares at other kids and wants them to go away. And if they get in her space she will push. She's not aggressive but it's still so embarrassing to see her try and move another kid away or to move her body so the other kid is getting kind of pushed out of the area. Not fun

Teething

Transitions: helping her adjust to a new baby and a cross country move within a month of each other

Language: working on speech with her while there will be a gap in her EI/speech therapy

Discipline and tantrums: coming into the terrible twos and needing to figure out how to handle things consistently while in 3rd tri fatigue

Language development

@yoursilverlining: @hilsy85: ughhh my daughter just turned one and she is an addicted. We try to limit to sleeping and car rides, but we have to hide them throughout the day. If she sees one and we don't give it to her, she freaks out. I'm not too concerned at her current age, but I have a feeling this will be a struggle.

Other issues:

Sleeping - struggling since we got back from vacation where we had to co sleep and won't sleep for more than an hour or two unless someone is next to her....

Climbing - she just started walking a month ago and now climbs on everything. I turn my head for two seconds and she has climbed up in her high chair.

Overall she is so much fun and laughs and giggles all the time and I wouldn't trade it for the world :). Who needs sleep anyways?

Thinking on preschool options!

With 21 m/o twins...
-transition to toddler beds
-grabbing toys
- maintaining a twin bond while encouraging independent play
- potty training

I need to add computer/video game time limits for the oldest, he thinks I'm stupid and resets the timer when I'm not looking. Oh and using deodorant everyday. This age really stinks

And fighting the paci at bedtime for Maddy. It's a losing battle.
