I've been a holiday present buying crazy person lately, I like to get ahead of the curve to avoid the craziness! I'm about 50% done, going after work to get a few more things, and will finish on Black Friday/weekend. I always wait on stocking stuffers until it's closer to Christmas though. What % have you done?

I have to buy for my Mom and Dad but other than that, I'm really close to done. My husband and I aren't exchanging this year - our kitchen was our present.

I slowly shop year round. So I'm done besides a few small things.

I have all the fun stuff purchased (aka the kids' stuff). We know what we are going to get my MIL and FIL, but we are waiting for it to go on sale.
I still need to figure something out by my mom, my dad, SIL, and both BILs. The adults are so hard to buy for.

I haven't really started yet...I have all the books for the book advent, and one thing for Ev, and some matching PJ pajamas, but that's it. I don't have a TON to shop for, though. My two kids, D and my mom, 4 nephews, and a Yankee Swap gift.

I'm maybe 30% done? I've ordered all Christmas and birthday gifts for my parents (both birthdays in December) and I've ordered some stocking stuffers for the kids. And I have a list of things I'm probably ordering, but haven't gotten to yet. Need to go over the list with Hubs.

Not even close, but I have probably 90% of LO's stuff bought and that is the most important.
Have nothing at all for anyone else in the family, including DH, our parents, our siblings, and our niece and nephew. Sigh.

DS is done except for stocking stuffers! But haven't even started on anyone else. Thankfully we're doing Pollyanna this year so not too many presents to buy.

I slowly shop year round for clearance buys or totally perfect things I come across, but I haven't taken inventory yet and don't know how well I'll match up everything I have to people I need to buy for.
I would estimate maybe 25% done; hopefully more!

I got gifts for DD and her 2 cousins.
I think I know what I'm getting DH, so it's just my family left (3 people). We don't exchange gifts with his family (adults).

@2PeasinaPod: I'm so in denial that Thanksgiving is next week. It means that we have to go to my inlaws for Christmas. I'm nervous about her talking Trump around my impressionable 4 year old whose surrounded by a diverse group of kids.

I don't usually shop until December. I love all the holiday displays, craft fairs, etc.

I'd say 30% done. The other 70% is mostly figured out just waiting on some Black Friday/cyber Monday sales. I will also hold off on finishing DD's Christmas shopping until after her birthday party in early December.

@cascademom: Ugh...that's the worst. I'm banning all politics at Thanksgiving. My FIL tends to just go with whatever causes controversy, but I'm not engaging in it with him. And I'm going to ask that he not discuss it around the kids.

@2PeasinaPod: I'm really hoping that she behaves herself, but I doubt it. I'm having a talk with DH about it before we go. I'm going to have to put with days of it, but if she says it and my child repeats it. I'm going to be pissed. It's not the first time that we've had to tell her to behave around our kids. I'm all for giving no cares in life, but she needs to act like an adult around our children.

I like to get ahead and usually have my shopping done by now but this year I've barely started. I've been overwhelmed, sick, stressed, depressed by life in general the last few weeks so haven't really been in the mood (or had time). Thanks for the reminder

I'm done shopping for everyone but my brother, his gf, and my stepmom so almost done! I typically wait until the last minute but I told myself I needed to finish before Thanksgiving this year. I'm hoping it will make me less stressed!

@youboots: you're so good at that! You buy ahead for your daughter and shop all year for Christmas. My brain just kind of stalls out and can't function when I try to purchase things like that for the future!

I'm due next week so I've been attempting to start Christmas shopping early, usually I wait until after Thanksgiving. I have some stocking stuffers for DS, his Sinterklaas gifts (Dutch St. Nicholas on Dec 5) and a couple of his Christmas gifts. Nothing yet for my parents or in-laws. Going shopping on Monday, my first day of maternity leave-- assuming baby doesn't make his arrival over the weekend!!!

I need another poll option - more than 75% but less than 100%! I still need to do my husband's grandma, my neighbour's two boys, and some stocking stuffers.

I have done nothing. But, in my defense, I will only need to get one present for my side of the family and another for my husband's side of the family because we've talked them both into doing exchanges rather than presents for/to everyone. Beyond that, some stocking stuffers for my husband and son and that's my whole list. We keep it pretty simple. And the grandparents will likely get more stuff for my son, so I don't feel the need to get him gifts.

0% excluding my giving tree gifts. I have three in laws coming for Thanksgiving next week and I'm still hoping to snag an invite elsewhere for my group of 7.
