Before we moved it was 4:30 for a 6:00 pick up. I was almost always within 10 minutes of being late.

Now it is 4:30 for 5:30 pickup. Most days I have time to park the car at home and walk the 8 minutes to get LO. Sometimes I even get home at 5:05. However if I wait until 4:37 I will be late for pickup. A few minutes makes a huge difference.

On good days, the commute to daycare is only 15 min but on bad days it can be 30 min. I typically leave at 5:15 so that I'm not stressing out while I'm driving. Today I left at 5:35 and was freaking out the entire time.

415ish to get there by 430. I work 15 minutes min from where we live (and where day care is-it's just down the street!)

I get off after my husband so it's not a big issue, but if i have to pick up E, i give myself 30 minutes to pick her up, then get home. Dinner's almost ALWAYS pre-prepped so it doesn't take long, or i have my husband throw it in the oven. So I leave at 4:00 because my goal is to get her at 4:30. Daycare closes at 5:00 but I don't like to take advantage of that since it's an in-home (right down the street from us)

I have to pick up at 4:30. I have to leave work by 4:25!

DH does pick up and it's a 5 minute walk from his office to daycare - he leaves around 4:15. If I have to pick up and I have to be in the office, I leave around 4:15 as well in case trains are delayed. Daycare's open till 6.

I leave work at 5 for a 5:30 pickup, but I'm usually there by 5:20-25, then it's another half hour home from there. My daycare closes at 6:30, but there's a limit on how long a child can be there (10 hours, I think) and right now E's at like 9.5.

DCP closes at 6 but I pick up earlier

I usually leave work by 4:30 and can get to DCP at 4:50

DH usually picks up and he leaves his office by 4:30 to get there by 5:45 at the latest. He likes to have plenty of time so he's not stressed he is usually there by 5:20.
I have two office locations, I have to leave one by 4:45 and the other by 4:15 to get there in time.

Luckily this is not a huge issue for me. I get off at 4:30 and have a 35 minute commute. I am there in plenty of time, and even time to run a quick errand if I have too. If I push it I get nervous if I'm not out of the door by 5. LO does not like being picked up late.

I leave the house at 6:30am and pick up DS around 5pm or lil thereafter depending on traffic and train schedules. Dinner is usually around 6:30pm.
