We had a big dinner for Christmas Eve last night, so tonight we will probably just recover from that. In a perfect world, I'd love to have a roast chicken and drink red wine. There is actually some great rotisserie chicken in town, so maybe I'll pick up one of those on the way home!

I'm making a spiral ham and a roast... I feel crazy for making so much (we are just having 11 people over) but at least I won't have to cook for a couple of days!

We're driving back from the in laws today and not going to my family's house until next week, so we're ordering Chinese food!

Lasagna!!!!! My mom is hosting this year and made her own pasta from scratch like my great grandma used too!!!! Such a treat!

Last night I hosted and we had:
Pork roast with cranberry glaze, scalloped potatoes, corn casserole, balsamic shallot butter green beans, spinach salad and rolls. Lemon tart from Trader Joe's for dessert
Tonight my parents are hosting and we are having smoked turkey and stuffing, broccolini, & mashed sweet potatoes.

We're having dinner with friends who are vegan and gluten free. So. . .
I'm bringing a vegan roasted red pepper GF pasta side dish and some vegan/GF oatmeal chocolate chip cookie bar things. Not sure what else we're having.

We are going out for Chinese food I think. We are going to my parents' tomorrow (bright and early) and will be gone for the rest of the week so I didn't want to cook a big meal or have leftovers!

I made a slow roasted leg of lamb, roast baby potatoes and carrots, big greek salad and roasted peppers with tomato. easy peasy, very low key, relaxed dinner. fresh cherries for dessert!

We had beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, shredded Brussels sprouts, and some nice crusty bread. It was only the three of us, so it wasn't anything over the top, but it was tasty. DD actually ate all her meat and potatoes (but wouldn't touch the Brussels sprouts) and I considered that my Christmas miracle...
