Last night, at 2 am, I suddenly feel a tiny two year old body snuggling close. I let her lay there for a minute or two before I finally say, "Baby, what are you doing?" (She rarely gets in bed with us.) And she says "oh mommy, I'm just hugging you. I love you." 
If someone is going to wake me at 2am, that's the way to do it! lol

My 21 month old daughter is SUCH a little nurturer. Yesterday I was lying on the couch not feeling well and she brought over a quilt to cover me up. So sweet!

My 3 year old comes and rubs my face and asks "Mommy, you're my best friend?" and I say yes and she gives me tons of kisses.

DH has been working late this week. He usually bathes DD and gets her dressed for bed before handing her over to me to nurse. It hasn't happened much lately because he's been getting home too late. Tuesday night I was nursing DD before bed when DH got home. He came in the nursery and when DD realized it she squealed with happiness and then snuggled up to him when he picked her up. It was so sweet. She loves him so much. I wish they got to spend more time together.

My 15 mo old comes over and says "hug" and proceeds to give me a big hug! And she suddenly started calling us honey, hahaha. I think it's b/c DH and I call each other honey?!

Oh these stories are melting my heart!!
My husband and I went to a charity masquerade ball last weekend and when I came downstairs all dressed up, LO squealed really loudly and told me that I looked like a beautiful princess.
My MIL had (minor) eye surgery the other day and so is staying with us for a few days to recover. She and DH were leaving this morning to go to the follow-up appointment and LO got very serious and told MIL that MIL "had to be brave" and that LO knew MIL could do it and be brave at the doctor's office

My DD told me on the way to DCP this morning that yesterday B was playing by herself and no one would play with her - so she walked over and said "B, do you want to be my friend and play with me?" B said yes and then we played.
I told her that made me so proud of her and how important it is to be a friend to everyone
