What's the first item you bought for baby after you got your BFP!?

A hand crochet'ed (sp?) rainbow blanket - we knew we would be team green so this was the first of the gender neutral items we bought for our baby.
I slept with it all through my pregnancy, and had it in my son's bassinet and then crib, I think because it smelled like me it helped to settle him. He still loves it although he has started picking apart the stitches....

I honestly don't remember... It might be these sticky wall decals I saw on Zullily that I just loved.

I don't remember probably clothes. I was still cautious about IVF being a success and both twins making it so I don't think I bought anything for both of them for a while.

hmm, nothing for a long while. After 24 weeks or so I think we bought a crib and the glider, so those were purchased, and somewhere after that I did buy one onesie, but waited until after my shower at 34 weeks to buy other things. i'm a little superstitious and was nervous to buy too much BEFORE the baby was here.... not sure i'm the norm though

DH made a bet with me that I wouldn't be able to NOT buy a baby item during the first trimester. so of course I proved him wrong and abstained from any baby purchases. My first purchase after the moratorium was the book Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boynton.

We were in Thailand at the end of the first trimester and bought an embroidered elephant pillow case. First pregnancy had ended in miscarriage so I didn't want to get my hopes up and buy something earlier.

We bought Sophie the giraffe after our first ultrasound at 9 weeks.

A week after my BFP, I bought a pregnancy journal. I think I picked up some Baby Gap stuff a few weeks later.

I bought a Hello Kitty onesie set for LO1. Not sure what we got for LO2... I think it was clothes as well.

Always clothes. I bought a sleeper to give my husband to tell him after my first positive, which ended in miscarriage. After IVF worked I bought a knit Peter Rabbit one-piece. With this baby...I can't actually remember!

I guess the first item I bought was pacifiers because it was part of my reveal to my hubby. But real first item was clothes. We didn't buy any big items until after 20 weeks.

I think a onesie with a French bulldog on it! I was kind of nervous so I didn't buy a lot at first.

Hmmm honestly don't remember with #1, probably her furniture around 17 weeks. DD2, I bought some A&A blankets after her ultrasound.

This time around I bought a couple of sweet newborn clothing items at goodwill. Too cute! With my daughter I think it was probably our stroller.

I was a little paranoid (for no real reason) so waited until 18 weeks to buy anything. I bought a little outfit once we found out the sex. I *had* bought a onesie before we even started trying, though, that I gave DH when I found out I was pregnant.
