I don't think we'd get anything different - we're cheap like that!

Maybe I wouldn't bat an eye at newborn clothes and just buy a enough for 2 weeks worth of laundry (even though it's a gamble if LO will fit in them at all). LO would probably have more socks and hats then she'll ever need as well.

Other than that, I can't think of anything else. Ooooh I know! I would hire a nanny that's soley responsible for diaper changes, bottle cleaning, and laundry.

I second the BOB! I have heard nothing but great things, I just cant justify pulling the trigger on something so pricey. We have been pretty budget-oriented and i have been happy with how we have spent the money so far.

@Crumbs: same! I can't think of anything besides some babysitting help once in a while.

I'd get a BOB too.. I usually just leave the kids if I go out and run, but this would allow me to run more during the week. Hmmm... Now this post has me thinking of getting one, haha! DH will be so pleased to add to our history of strollers =/

Oh and like Crumbs and Andrea, I think a mother's helper/nanny would be a great idea too. I could definitely use an extra set of hands or a break here and there! I'd up the frequency of the housekeeper coming in as well. That would all be so appreciated!

I think I'd hook up her nursery. I see so many great things (mostly on Pinterest) and I wish I could do them all. But it's not realistic.

If money was no issue, I’d love to have a Mary Poppins type nanny for LO. I would also love to get her a really amazing play house and deck it out.

I would also buy her these uber soft cashmere onesies I saw for sale. They were ridiculously expensive, but they looked/felt so cozy and soft!

We have the Orbit. It's amazing, BUT I am praying that our son likes the car seat. I nannied a baby that had the Orbit car seat, and he screamed the entire time he was in it! Other than that major detail, as a stroller, it was perfection.

I would hire someone to finish the nursery at this point if I had unlimited funds. I suck at interior design, so I fear that the nursery may be a disappointment.

I would hire a nanny for when I go back to work! Hm, or maybe I wouldn't go back to work ; )

@yoursilverlining: I want Mary Poppins for a nanny period. My LO isn't naughty per se, he just has a few things that need to be worked out. Like eating! Sometimes he just loses his mind sitting in his high chair. I don't want him to eat watching TV for the rest of his life to keep him happy.

@Crumbs: LOVE that idea! A nanny/housekeeper. I would love to spend all day with LO without worrying about cleaning, cooking, etc with the ability to take a break a couple times a week to get out.
I know it's not a baby item per se, but a bigger house, completely furnished with a finished nursery. It would definitely help in terms of caring for my baby. We live in such a small space it feels cramped and confining. I'd love to have a bigger nursery and a designated playroom for LO.

I would be a stroller hoarder too. And I would get a bigger car and hire a housekeeper... those are for LO, right?

A nanny! ...oh, and I really wish we had the Arms Reach co-sleeper for DD to sleep in, instead of her Pack N Play, b/c then I could see her and tend to her while she goes down to sleep rather than needing to sit up or get out of bed.

A live-in nanny that cooks and cleans and drives. I'd basically be the mama that got to give cute baths and nurse him. I guess that's pathetic.
But the cooking and driving would come in handy for me and dh more than the baby. It's just a fantasy:)
