@Meowkers: My response exactly. I'm pregnant right now, and very happy to be pregnant, but I've never had baby fever. And nice to see you over here! I just discovered this forum and remember you from weddingbee

@IRunForFun: Same here! I've wanted to me a mom for as long as I can remember (definitely before DH). And I've always been drawn to babies and little kids. So the fever has been present for a long time - I just had to wait for the right time to act on it (on cycle 4 of TTC now!)

Wouldn't call it baby fever exactly, but I felt my biological clock turn on when I was 26 or 27 and was doula for a 17 or 18 year old who asked me if I had any kids. I'd been in that position before but something about how she asked made me feel soooo old and behind schedule! Finally got around to it at 30, must say I'm glad I waited!

@IRunForFun @travelgirl1: me too, I feel like I've had baby fever my whole life. It doesn't surprise me one bit that my LO is obsessed with caring for her baby dolls...I was the same way. Always remember really, really wanting to be a mom.

First Wave (felt more like obsession): My early twenties.
Second Wave (now. More grounded, nesting, reading articles): Late twenties.

I had mild baby fever about six months into being married, when I was 25. We started ttc a few months later, and our daughter is almost four months. The baby fever for number 2 has already and it's so so much worse this time. I feel like a crazy person given how young she is but waiting until she's two like my husband wants before even starting to try sounds like absolute torture. Really hoping he will come around to the idea of starting around her first birthday.
