This is our first, so I practiced putting it in a couple months ago. However, it got in the way so now it's in trunk. I plan on installing it when I'm in labor, or at the hospital before we go home. It's in the car, it just isn't installed. Oh, I'm 39 weeks.

My husband installed it after my son was born, literally drove home to take a shower, then installed the seat and came back

First lo: day of induction at 38 weeks.

Second lo: 39 weeks

We did E's at about 35 weeks. The car seat and bases are still in boxes in our garage right now...I don't feel the same rush this time.

I stuck the seat and base in the trunk around 38 weeks when I started having false labor. I think I fully installed the seat around 39 weeks (for baby 2).

We did it the day before DS came home from the NICU... With DD I honestly don't remember if we did it before we had her or not. We will probably start hauling the car seat in the car around 36/37 weeks but I don't think we will install it until we have to.

After my son was born and we were still in the hospital.

I was thinking about this today. I will just make sure that we have it around and ready to go. I can't remember where we stored the bases so we will need to get those out and put them in a convenient place. I'm not sure if we'll install prior to going into labor since Dh knows how to do it on his own at this point.

On my due date! And then we proceeded to wait two long weeks after until baby had to be evicted.

Probably like a few weeks out? Maybe not even?

I'm having a RCS on Tuesday and we're planning on installing it this weekend. This is #3 for us, so I guess we waited until the last minute!

The day we were released from the hospital! But we had planned to have it in well before. We would have by 37 weeks.

Same as others, husband went home to shower, came back with car seat installed.

I was literally tripping over it in our apartment, so we installed it around 30 weeks.

At 37 weeks as I was being sent to the hospital! Apparently we should have done it a little earlier...

Put it in the trunk around 37 weeks. Installed the night before my induction at 39 weeks, 2 days.
