My oldest is 2.5 and she has yet to get a hair cut. Her hair is so long but I love it, I would be sad to cut it. Now LO2 on the other hand barely has any hair so it will be a very long time before we even think about cutting her hair.
When was your LO's first hair cut? If you have a DD what made you decide to finally cut their hair?

10 months! It was starting to curl over his ears and it looked stringy. There were a few newborn hairs left (it fell out by 3 months and regrew FAST) and they were twice as long as the rest of his hair.

13 months! His hair was ridiculous by then, with a full on rat tail and curling over his ears.

2.5 and it was just a trim. Her ends were looking rough. Same thing again at 3.

10months but not since (24 months now). I just cleaned it up a bit because she had some really long rat tails.

Just before her 2nd birthday - mostly just to give her bangs so her hair wasn't always in her face. The back I didn't have her touch.
On a sweet note, my LO's first haircut was done by Dh's aunt (who is a hairdresser), who also gave DH his first haircut! She flew in from ca for the occasion.

she hasn't yet! I don't plan to for awhile, it naturally formed slight side bangs so it's pretty easy to manage. I want to have her first cut in Disney

@sorrycharlie: I wanted LO to have her first cut at Disney too, but they don't cut, only style. LAME (Disneyland at least, don't know about disneyworld).

DD is 23 months. We haven't cut it yet but I think I will get a trim before 2 years. Her hair was in her face for months but she finally let us use rubber bands to hold it back.

Right before his first birthday, he had his first haircut. It's about every 2 months now. He got his last haircut before Christmas, so he's due for one in a week or two.

7 months. He has/had a lot of hair! We get a haircut every 6 weeks or so.

DD is almost 3 and her hair isn't really long enough yet to cut. I might give her a bang trim soon because it's in her eyes and she won't let me put a clip in it.

Just around the time he turned one. I am not a sentimental person by any means when it come to hair, but it needed to be done because it just wasn't doing him any favors.
Now I cut my son's hair regularly.

We haven't had an official hair cut, but my DD had one little lock in the back that was growing way longer than the rest so I snipped that at 18 months. I got tired of hearing about her rat tail.

RIght around 13 months. It was time. I'm not into long hair on boys and it was getting in his eyes and starting to look shaggy.
