At our old daycare, the rule was you had to be fever-free for 24 hours. My son's elementary school has the same rule... but I'm pretty sure most parents send their kids to school if they wake up in the morning fever-free!
When do you consider kids well enough to send to school/daycare?

I struggle with this every time L gets sick! Fortunately that hasn't been too often. I'm curious to see what everyone else says.

If he doesn't have a fever and he seems like his normal, happy self, just with a cough or runny nose or something, I send him.

Not sure. Our kids got sent home the other day because they were snotty
