My LOs are almost 10 months and my DS has been refusing to finish his bottles at daycare. Between that and a few other symptoms I was worried and called the ped. The nurse told me that this is the age where kids start decreasing the amount of breast milk they drink. We do BLW so I can't say how many ounces of puree he eats (as its all table food), nor do I know how many ounces total for the day since I nurse when we are together. So it is possible I guess that he is making up missed ounces through nursing and I just don't realize it.
But I always thought BM or formula was the primary source of calories during the first year so I'm confused.
Help! When did your LO start needing less BM?
My DD1 loved solids way more than I thought she was "supposed to" before a year, and she turned out A-OK. Keep it up, mama!
