Currently we put all of LO's toys in a clear plastic container. I was thinking about emptying one of my cabinets in the kitchen, lining it with pretty paper and putting some of her toys in there too.
When I was baby proofing the kitchen and cabinets, I read that keeping one open for the baby's stuff is a good way to satisfy their curiosity..
I'm currently too lazy to do it, but maybe I'll do it one day.

Currently, all her toys are in her p'n'p, which is in our living room. LO likes to play on the floor so we just pull out the toys she wants and when she's done, throw them back in. I want to buy an organizer so that I can get rid of the p'n'p.

my LO is too little to be pulling out toys by herself so currently we keep her toys in a basket under the coffee table. I'm sure that its just a matter of time before they are all over the floor!

I got a flexible storage container at Target. I don't have to worry about him hurting himself on the sides since the flex. He pulls all of his toys out of it too.

That sounds like a good idea! Except I have no room in my kitchen... so much crap in there!
LO's toys are in her closet. We have a toy box for the toys that are too big for her, and a basket for the ones that she plays with now.

We have a toy box in her room that is a padded bench. We also have 2 canvas bins that fit into the bottom of the coffee table that is in the living room.

@artbee: that's smart to put toys that aren't at her age level in the toy box and put the ones she can play with in an accessible place. I may have to steal that idea!
Right now I'm putting all of the toys we get in a clear plastic tub.

We have a drawer in the kitchen with his kitchen stuff.
In the living room, we've got an open laundry basket with toys in it and in his room, we use low shelves.
It's important to have the stuff at their level, and if possible, open tops so they can just get the stuff themselves.
