To preface this, I've been meaning to get YNAB, but I rarely go on my computer at home (not to mention the initial set up time), so I'll get there...

But anyway. I've been budgeting with excel for a long time and I've literally accounted for everything we spend money on (and padded some categories). My work shows that we should be able to save X amount a month, but I'm not really seeing that reflected in our bank account. So where is that money going!?
