@mrbee: Could the January explosion on other sites be because so many people get engaged over the holiday or resolve to blog more or take on some sort of personal project that is internet-worthy for their New Years resolution?
ETA: kinda like how the gyms gets so busy on Jan 1....

Traveling last week and this week with a really busy fall! Also in the limbo of having a toddler and not TTC #2 quite yet so while I read along, I don't have a lot to contribute. But I like checking in on my friends.

I'm around. It's only 8.30am though so I tend to read all the posts that were posted while I was asleep! I don't post much these days but I do read when I get some free time.
I'm currently writing to-do lists for this weekend since it's lo's 2nd birthday and we're doing a party, so I'm trying to get some housework/party preparation tasks each day so I'm not so stressed on Saturday -
Mainly busy with work. Although I've decided being a FTM isn't so bad once you start to see the forest for the trees and a lot of the posts lately don't seem relevant to me.

It's been really slow. So much so that haven't been on near as much as I normally am. It's another reason I've continued to hold of on redoing my Gold membership. I'm not sure it's worth the money if this is how the boards are.

i have actually been going insane in real life. i worked overtime at my last job for 2 weeks to finish up, now i am starting a new one and don't have access to a computer yet and i am preparing to defend my dissertation. so i still lurk here, but my posting has gone down significantly. I am also not TTC and not sure when i will be. I will likely start posting more when i am settled at my new job and TTC...oh and done this whole defense thing!

I've been making an effort to unplug and only browse the Internet in conscious, few small block of time rather than every waking moment. It's actually been refreshing!

We have been so busy with trying to get adjusted to school and work and daycare. I've also been conscious of trying to contribute more thoughtful things, so if I don't have time to post a long reply, I don't. That was one of the issues that came up a few weeks ago, and i am trying to be conscious of how I post.
That said, I will be glad when things settle down and I can get back to posting!

@Adira: I have some back pain and in tired but overall I feel great and just today I was thinking about my journey here and why a blessing it is to be pregnant. Now all I want to do is see everyone who is waiting get their healthy pregnancy! That and have a continued healthy pregnancy myself.

Our friends just delivered their first child and the hospital staff said there has been a huge explosion of fall births/babies! Maybe that's why?
