Which 3 row SUV do you have and why do you love it/hate it?

@Mrs D: I'm a former Grand Cherokee girl too! It pained me to get rid of it a few months ago but we've trying for #2 and I also wanted the ability to drive around our nieces and nephews/friends so we looked for something with a 3rd row. We ended up with the new Acadia Denali and it's amazing! It drives so smoothly and has tons of awesome features. I also liked being able to get 2 bucket seats/captains chairs for the 2nd row and then a bench for the third. It makes it feel more spacious and it's easier to install car seats.

It felt like driving a tank at first compared to the GC but I've gotten used to it and would definitely recommend!

@MtnBiker: I'm also pretty interested in the 4 runner. How is the legroom for the passenger in the seat in front of the carseat? And the back door seems a bit small.. is it tough to get LO in and out? I really need to get out and actually look at a few cars, but I hate car shopping! I keep thinking I'll just stop people in parking lots like a crazy person. Ha ha!

@bananapancakes: so far no issues with space. LOs car seat is behind my drivers seat with no issues. I'm about 5'7" and I sit far back (my husband is 6' and doesn't move my seat). I haven't had any issues getting LO in and out of the back in his infant seat. It rides a lot more like a truck than a car, which is what I wanted - but some people are not big fans of that. So far it's seemed like it takes a beating well. I'm rough with things, I am regularly tossing lumber, dirty bikes, and lacrosse gear in and it has had zero issues with anything I've tried. It has a high clearance so it hops curbs and handles dirt roads well. I'm rambling, sorry. The 2nd row rear seats are on tracks and can move forward and back.

@MtnBiker: That's good to know about the 2nd row being able to move some! I'm also super rough on our car and need something that can tow. My husband loves Toyotas, which is why he's into the Sequoia, but it's really big.

@bananapancakes: when you get right down to the core, I think it's just a Tacoma with an extended passenger area rather than a truck bed

@MtnBiker: @BananaPancakes: we love our 4Runner too. We didn't get the extra row but sometimes I wish we did.
