We are registering our daughter for Kindergarten before the 19th! We have to register her at our base school and then can choose options (like magnet schools and calendar options) from there.
Are you registering your child for K this year? When is registration for you?

But I don't know what to do!! We're hoping to be buying a house this year before summer, so do I register him planning to be in our district and change if/when we move? Not sure how this works!

He's already enrolled in 4k, so we don't have to re-register for K... but we start in September!

He missed the cut off by a few weeks, so we won't be doing Kinder until fall 2018.

Registration opened Dec. 15th. I registered DD1 for K, and entered DD2 into a lottery for the 3's program at DD1's school. Not sure if she'd really go there or if I'll keep her at the school where they currently attend Pre-K/2's.

We're enrolling him for a private Kindergarten at his Montessori school. He's a late Sept. birthday so I'm glad to wait another year to decide on public school (he can do public K again or just go to first).

DD2 starts this year! We are in private school and she got her acceptance in December so registration is done!

Dd might start TK this year or we could keep her in another year of preschool. She would start regular K next year in either case. We're going to an informational meeting soon to get more info! Just wish TK wasn't a half day program.

Registered her for K as soon as the application opened. I'm very excited because our morning commute is going to be so much easier.

I have to double check but I think our registration is in March. @mrsjazz: Girrrlll I hear ya! We live LITERALLY right next door to the Elementary school! Right now I have a 40 or so minute round trip commute even though my work is only like 8 minutes away! CANNOT WAIT!

My baby turned five last month so we are getting ready! We don't like our district though so we applied open enrollment to our neighboring district and are also considering catholic school. Open enrollment priority ends 1/31 and we find out in March. The parochial school will take us anytime we want to give them our money.
It feels like such a big decision!!

DS is in his last year of primary at his Montessori school, which we had been told was the kindergarten year when we first enrolled him. But now they told us they're keeping the kids in primary longer... which is all to say, I thought DS had started Kindergarten at the beginning of this school year, but it turns out it's next year? So confusing. If he was attending public or parochial school, we'd be registering him for Kindergarten now.

We're doing it! I'm so nervous about DS going into the public school system, but short of sending him to private school (not happening) I think we've done everything we can to make it a good experience.

My youngest will be starting Kinder in the fall. But it will be the last year of Montessori early childhood which they consider Kinder. We did the same for my oldest.
