We're moving out of our apartment soon and my landlord is going to sell it. My neighbor was shocked at the price and told me, "That's crazy! It needs so much - the kitchen needs to be redone, the bathroom needs to be redone, the deck needs to be redone." I agreed with her in the moment - it's all pretty dated - but later I was like, "Hey! We've lived in this place that apparently needs a major overhaul and we've loved it. What does that say about us?"
