I'm not sure if I will get the girls anything or not. If I do probably something small like a book or little stuffed animal. I'll have to check out the dollar section at Target and see if there is something that could work!

Yes! My parents always gave us a little something for Valentine's Day growing up, and I never have had that dread or hatred of this particular holiday. It was a focus on that we were loved and not a popularity contest.
I plan to get him something every year. Last year he got a little stuffed puppy that made kissy sounds. This year, probably some cute socks or shirt and a toy.

Last year I made him a little photo album book called "Who loves Liam?" It has pictures of everyone in our family and some friends and his nanny and says "Mommy loves Liam" etc opposite each picture. No idea what I'll do this year, but I like the idea of making something.

Yes, something small and valentine themed. My mom always did that for us growing up on holidays (st.patricks, Halloween, 4th of July)

I already got them VDay books and cutesy heart outfits. If I get somethingn for them it will be something they really need or something really little.

Yes! A little something. My mom always got me a little treat. Usually a stuffed animal and candy. It was always in my room when I woke up. Going to do the same for Sadie!

I'll put together a small bag of a new book and fun heart shaped things. My parents always did that for me and it felt so special even if it was something as small as hair clips.

This year I got them the Ezra face masks from Star Wars Rebels for dress up - they love that show!

Last year we have them books but this year we are really trying to be more intentional with our budget & the kids have plenty... I think we might just try to make a fun Valentine's themed breakfast.

Definitely! I love celebrating holidays with J. My dad used to bring us chocolates home from work and I loved it. I want it to be something fun for J, too.

Nope. he doesn't understand and we don't really do v-day anyway. I'll have to start when he's older, in school, but there's no reason for us to start right now.

Nope, but he's only 1 so it's not like he has a clue about it anyways. When I was a kid my parents would get us a little treat - a box of candy hearts or little box of a few chocolates, something like that. I might do that once he's a bit older.

DH and I don't do presents so I probably won't do any presents for DS either. I don't want to set the precedent that he gets something for every holiday. But maybe I'm just stingy.

DH and I don't do Valentine's Day, but I'll probably get DS a book -- either the Huggy Kissy book by Leslie Patricelli (DS and DH love Toot!) or the Peek-a-boo I Love You flap/board book. My parents always got me something small for holidays and I'd like to continue that with our LOs.

I'm not a fan of valentines day, I'd much rather a spontaneous surprise of an " I love you" gift so DH and I don't celebrate with each other. That said, I will give him a truffle chocolate from the chocolate store. He loooved it last year!
