We've been to 3 birthday parties in one weekend, so I'd probably be up for it. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around the idea that your friend has already sent out invitations for a late June birthday party!

I second @Pancakes: with sending out invites already!!! I need to get on it apparently lol. I don't think it's a big deal to go to two in one weekend. I would be thinking if that is doable for you.. coming back from vacation, going to her party, then trying to plan yours. Timing was terrible for us this year so I am throwing DS party a month after his birthday lol.

@aprild: I don't think so. Your party is on a separate day. Not like you're doing it the same day at the same time or back to back times.

@aprild: They are 3 and 6. The 6 yo only goes to drop off parties now. If it had just been my 3 yo, I might have stayed, depending on the party.

I would not, because at least one weekend day needs to be devoted to chores and errands for us. But I like Sunday parties, so yours would probably be the one I chose!

We've even gone to two parties the same day. If we weren't very close to one person, we might skip, but if they are people who are special to us or our kids we just make it happen. The boys think it's the MOST FUN DAY EVER. We think it's exhausting, but we still make it work.

Wow, invites already?! We're actually in a similar position. DD's birthday is at the end of June, but there's a big holiday in between and having it in July is kind of late because by then, everyone is out of town for summer break and conflicts with her twin BFFs birthday. Having it at the start of June would be ideal, but I think it might just fall on a kid's birthday from the same class. I need to talk to his mom, but we'll likely end up having a back-to-back birthday parties.

To answer your question, I'd go. But it would be ideal to just have a single party to go to per weekend.

We do it all the time, and have been to two in the same day. The only birthdays I *don't* do are the ones that are right at nap time, like at noon. Then we go early or go late, but don't stay long. If it's a short party, like from 12-2, we just RSVP no.

Probably not two in the same day, but one Saturday, one Sunday could work.

@aprild: Even if you do a different weekend people may still have to choose (should we go out of town this weekend or next weekend). At least this way you know people maybe will be in town for both! Summer is just hard in general!

We only do 1 bday party a day. I would consider going to both if they are on different days. I certainly wouldn't change the bday weekend just because a friend already has a party scheduled.

As long as they're on different days and not terribly out of way, I would.

Yes, I would go to a Sat and Sun party. Gotta do what works for you!

A couple of times we've had 3 in one day, so 2 in one weekend is totally doable.
