can you push off TTC until you get back?

I would go but not TTC until after the cruise.

I voted yes only because you aren't pregnant yet! And I'd feel way more comfortable on a cruise than on land (mosquitoes bite mostly at dawn and dusk when you'll be on the ship anyway).

I think I would go but stay on the ship if I were pregnant. I would just be so disappointed if it took a while to get pregnant AND we missed a cruise.

Agree with the others - I would wait to TTC. The severity of the risk is just too high for me, personally! (microcephaly) There is currently believed to be no risk if you are infected with Zika and later become pregnant, though!

I would go on the cruise, but I would wait to TTC. Will it have a huge effect on your timeline to wait until at least April?

What did you decide about your cruise? I have a cruise planned in April that is supposed to be a family vacation and the grandparents already booked it. We had wanted to start to TTC this month after recovering from a miscarriage. And I don't want to wait But after reading up on this today I'm pretty convinced it's not a good idea to get pregnant first.

@lilyann: yea I totally get not wanting to cancel yet! Good luck! I wonder if Norwegian will be issuing the same sort of credit. Thanks for the info.

@lilyann: I think Jamaica is the only country in your list that is affected so I would just plan to stay on the ship and indoors there if you are pregnant.

We have a blow out extended family vacation in grand cayman in April. Currently TTC but not very hard, If that makes sense. . It's not in grand cayman and they have an excellent mosquito eradication program, so while I am concerned, I'm still planning to go.
