DS is 14m and aside from finger foods we feed him. At what age did you start letting your LO try to self feed with a spoon?

DS is 11 months and he's been making a fuss and not eating if we don't at least let him self-feed a few times. So we are slowly easing into at every meal. We have to help of course, but he gets the idea of scooping food, and into his mouth.

8 months? We haven't fed him in ages, but he learned to use a spoon very early.

Ever since 7 months when we started BLW we let her primarily self feed. I think I introduced a spoon before a year? By 15m she was really good at using a spoon and fork. Now she eats better with a fork / spoon and uses one every night.

We started giving her a fork soon after 1. She half uses it and half uses her hands. We've fed her only a handful of times since then.

Before a year. She's 18m and can feed herself with spoon and fork, she uses one every night.

We started placing a loaded spoon in front of her at 6 months. She's almost 7 months and sometimes gets it in her mouth. Sometimes it's her eye, though
