@LindsayInNY: This was my lot number
W00130174-3 Exp 01/15
In October, I used them to test out my trigger shot. I had two days of positives (expected) followed by two or three days of negatives. So, I thought my trigger shot was out of my system! Then I got a positive on 7DPO and thought for sure I was pregnant. I tested positive the next 7 days, until I got my period. I had negative FRERs. My husband tested positive on this batch, too.
Never, ever again. Ever. Biggest waste of my time and money.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Ummm that's the exact same lot number I have. Literally the same.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I even googled the lot number! I didn't see much about it. I tried this morning with a blue dye test from Target (can't remember what exactly) and that was blank too.

I can dig up pics of my evaps/false positives if you want. They were very clearly positive.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: But wouldn't my problem be a false negative, if anything? I haven't even seen so much as an evap.

@LindsayInNY: I'm not sure? I mean my husband got a positive.. Shouldn't he have at least gotten a negative?
I just don't trust them at all to give reliable information, one way or another.

@LindsayInNY: since the Wondfos are badly be try an OPK tomorrow. At least maybe it will give you a clue if it's dark.
Did you already stop progesterone?
bananas / 9229 posts
@T.H.O.U.: That's what I figured. If a OPK is dark then that might mean something? I'm still doing the progesterone at night. I'm kinda fearful to stop, just in case... It'll only delay AF, at worst.

I also wanted to add that by 14dpo I was getting very definite positives with a FRER and a super super squinter with wondfo. Like, if I hadn't been getting positives on the FRER I probably would have thrown the wondfo away thinking it was negative. I don't trust them at all for early testing.

@LindsayInNY: That is my lot number as well. I haven't had any false positives or false negatives, though. I did know they were potentially bad and not to get my hopes up this cycle, though.

@LindsayInNY: so I just checked my Wondfo lot number as well. I have the same as you and @Mrs. Jump Rope: do. It gave me a positive that I shared on the Bee but then I barely got positives the next few days on them. There is definitely something wrong with this batch. I was getting a positive on a digital but not on a Wondfo. Get a FRER!

@LindsayInNY: I took one of those target blue dye tests when I was about 6 weeks pregnant and it was barely positive. Not trying to get your hopes up, just telling you my experience.

I've been following this, I have the same lot of wondfos and... expired FRERs from 2012. Oy.

@LindsayInNY: I'm not really sure. I guess it's what I get for buying pregnancy tests that were on sale.

@LindsayInNY: ughhhh FX for a late BFP for you friend!!!!

@BakerBee: Same here... I bought the blue dye ones before I knew there was even a difference. They were to confirm Wondfo's which also tend to suck. I'm tempted to buy the store brand FRER but need to suck it up and just get the brand!

@LindsayInNY: I ended up just buying the FRERs... I figured the years of therapy that the cheapos were going to potentially cause me evened it out. I allowed myself two a cycle, though, and had my husband hide them until at least 10dpo. I lack in the self control area.

@BakerBee: Ugh, I hear ya... I can't ignore the unsettled stomach feeling but yet resist "splurging" on a good test. So dumb of me! I test before stopping the progesterone I'm on so Wondfo's are usually good for that. At least when I'm not feeling "off" like this.

@LindsayInNY: Just trust your body and do what feels right. We are all rooting for you, but you have to be comfortable with what you ultimately decide to do (i.e. stop progesterone, splurge for test, etc).

@BakerBee: I laughed out loud at your therapy comment.
@LindsayInNY: I am going to start slow clapping to a FRER chant.
"FRER! FRERR! FRERRR!"

I'm voting for the FRER bandwagon for you this month - go get one!

Rooting for you!!!!! Definitely going to add to the peer pressure....FRER, FRER!!

Okay so I just went to CVS and bought a box of two FRER. It was literally the last one (and I didn't cheap on the store brand either!) - they're really pushing the blue dye tests and the digital ones! My stomach has been completely unsettled all day today (same all weekend). I don't know how to describe it other than queasy. It's not nausea per se and I don't feel vomit-y or poop-like either. Just an unsettled, queasy feeling. And someone was heating food up at the gym too and I could smell it right away. Plus the very nipple part of my nipples have been sore. Almost like when you go braless for too long and get that chafed feeling. That's what they feel like. I've never had this happen with progesterone either - usually I don't feel a thing. So I think I'll POAS again tomorrow morning?

@LindsayInNY: or today if you can do a hold and don't drink too much water.. fx!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@LindsayInNY: Yea! I agree that if you can hold for about 3 hours, you could probably take one tonight.

@LindsayInNY: There are so many people rooting for your uterus, I think you might start to feel violated! Seriously, though, all fingers/toes super crossed for you.
