@MaisyMay: hang in there! The same thing happened to me...It took me FOREVER to dilate for my induction, but I had a fantastic delivery and I wish I wouldn't have stressed so much about how long it was taking! I hope things speed up for you though!

Update: Had folley catheter placed at 3 p.m. and was told it would fall out when 3-4 cm dilated. It fell out at 10:30 tonight, so we have made progres!! MIL and FIL hung out with us about 7 hours today, will be back tomorrow, My mom is still here, but will going to get some sleep soon, I had morphine earlier to help me rest and fight pain, worked really well, Going to try for another nap, maybe a few hours between now and tomorrow,
Baby should be here tomorrow!

Things are progressing nicely now!
Around 11 pm morphine wore off, was able to hold off on an epidural until 1 am. At 2:30 they broke my waters, and at 3 am they took off all of my external monitors and put in internals. Pitocin was added to the mix around midnight, but only at 4 units. When the broke water, they also turned pitocin OFF after having turned it down to 2. Right now, contractions are a steady 2 1/2 minutes apart, nice and strong. Baby's heartbeat is dipping a bit with each contraction, hence all of the internal monitoring.
It looks like LO will be here by 3 pm this afternoon, at the latest.
For me, the most encouraging part was being told that I have a better chance of having a vag birth than a c-section. Every other time this pregnancy, it's been 60% chance of C, now it's not. This makes me very happy. Definitely zoned out/napped for a few hours off and on, but semi-awake now.
Love you all!!!!!!!

At this point, 9+ cm's dilated, baby's head is right there, just waiting to feel the need to push. Sent DH to get some breakfast for himself from the cafeteria. Was able to doze off and on from 3-8 this morning, so feeling pretty good.
At this point, no reason for a C-section, slight chance may change, but not too worried about it.
