To it was the fourth time my husband and I have left our 4.5 month old for a few hours. We always leave her with one of our parents. Tonight my mom and dad came over and we were gone for 4 hours. They got her to take maybe a 20 minute nap in the stroller, but she was pretty upset by the time we came home. Last time we left her with my inlaws (again for about 4 hours) she didn't sleep at all.
I am a SAHM and exclusively breast feed. I'm getting a little worried that she is going to keep freaking out anytime we leave her. It makes me feel bad for our parents who want to spend time with her, and bad for her because she is so worked up by the time we get home.
Today was the worst it's been, she was really worked up b y the ime we got back. Lately she has been crying even when others hold her.
I know a lot of this is normal development stuff, but is there anything I can do to help encourage her to be more comfortable when I leave her?
