I am looking for a container that LO can easily eat out of at daycare (she's ~11 months) and can be heated up in the microwave. I don't have an dividers in her current lunch container and when i opened up the container everything is mushed and mixed up together.
Any suggestions? Preferably something i can purchase in Canada!

I ordered the Dr. Sears nibble tray from amazon.com and it came within a week, no duty/brokerage and it's awesome!!

i pack olive's lunch in the dr sears nibble tray, but i wouldn't microwave it so i second regberadaisy's suggestion. silicon cupcake liners can be microwaved, so they could microwave just the portions that need to be microwaved.
they sell really big silicon liners too -- not just cupcake size at allthingsforsale.

For hot items, I use glass containers like the ones below and use the silicone cupcake liners as dividers. Our daycare only allows glass for microwaving. That means I have to separate the cold items in another container.

@T-Mom: we have those same containers as tupperware and they're really great (though we don't send them to daycare).

@Mrs. Bee: so since you send the food room temp, do you send an ice pack? Or maybe that is not needed since it's a short time until lunch time.. I'm trying to figure out the mechanics of a non-heated bento style lunch.

@T-Mom: it's a small daycare so all the food is kept in the fridge. he doesn't mind eating it cold although i've thought about heating olive's food up.
once charlie starts pre-k, i will have to send an ice pack.

My kids are very temperature sensitive. They don't like it too hot, but they don't like it too cold. Kind of like Goldilocks!
