The one i have by avent i find the lid super annoying to get off. Any recommendations on a good straw cup?

There are a couple recent threads on this where people (myself included) rant against the Zoli, which leaks like crazy. My favorite is the Lansinoh Momma cup. It's shaped like an orb and doesn't often leak. I also like the take and toss, but those leak more.

We love Camelbak kids for water. Added bonus when they are ready to start learning to top the cup back, you can ditch the straw and it still works.

We have a couple of older playtex ones, but we had to buy a new one for day care, and it looks like they've redesigned. The new one is pretty good, but it's at day care most of the time, so kinda hard for me to judge. They seem to be decent though.

My kid will only drink from a Zoli or BBox. The BBox doesn't leak as bad as the Zoli so we are sticking with those for now.

@brownie: We use these too--they are awesome, and wash so easily too! Though if you have a chewer, the sippy part of the straw may start leaking, but they sell replacements!

Take n Toss is great if your LO doesn't pull the straw out! Mine is learning to put it back in though. we also have an insulated Munchkin one that doesn't leak and works well.

Playtex First Lil Grippers (the ones with handles) are great bc you can squeeze them a bit like a juice box to help your little one get the idea of using a straw.

i like the zoli for home use. they are also the cheap one from target that can be seasonal or regular use. our favorites for out and about are her camelbak kids water bottle and then a thermos foogo. those last two don't leak. the take and toss, she would pull the straws out of.

i liked the nuby with the two handles on the side in the beginning. i don't think it ever leaked. now we use the munchkin ones that don't have the handles on the side since she is more dexterous now that she is older. that doesn't leak either.

We're really liking the ThinkBaby straw cups - they don't leak, and they haven't broken even when LO "accidentally" throws them on the floor.

@mrsjyw: do you use the regular size or the small ones? I really like the small one that we taught dd to drink from and it doesn't leak, but the regular size ones are another story...
At home we use take n toss.
Outside we use this owl and hello kitty cup we got for cheap at target.
The first one we ever used was the playtex one where you can squeeze it to teach them to drink. They just changed it so I totally bought two for the next lo BOGO50% at bru. Lol. When dd was first drinking from a straw and tipped the cup a lot we used zoli (and actually didn't have a ton of leaks except when we left it out.) Next I'll be on the hunt for a water bottle with the simplest straw I can find!
