Ugh, ladies. I just had the scariest morning ever. So I POAS again today and it seemed like nothing was going to come up on either one. I decided my 3:30 am was a good one because I hadn't gone since 9:30 am. The FRER is lighter but I think the cheapy is darker.
Then at 7:30 am I tried a cheapy again and it almost didn't come up in the 5 minutes. I am so terrified. I need some reassurance that I am not just imagining things. That everything is okay.

Don't use hpt's as an indicator for the HCg levels. They just tell you if HCg is in your system. It's still early, and a lot of variables can affect the darkness of the line(how diluted the urine is, the dye in the test itself, etc). A quantitative HCg test is the only thing that can tell you if your levels are rising appropriately. Good luck with your betas! I hope you some high, rapidly doubling numbers!

I don't have any good advice for you, other than try and get in sooner for the beta if you can. Does your doc know that you have already tested positive?

Ugh, scary!! When are your betas? HPTs scare the crap out of me, especially wondfos. There's just too many variables, and I get way too worked up on results that could mean nothing at all. I had to take a test in the ER when I was 5 weeks, and it took forever to come up...I almost had a heart attack. But your FRER is still positive, which is awesome.
Sending you all the sticky, doubling thoughts I have! Hope those betas are SKY HIGH when you get them back!!!

I always suggest looking at betabase.org because you'll see really low betas still turn out as viable pregnancies. The range is huge! Keeping you in my thoughts!

@brownie: I didn't get any line until I was 14 dpo, and it was a super duper faint line at that. So I think it's great that you have one so early. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

@Shutterbug: on our way down right now. 4 hour drive and then the draw at 10 am. Results sometime this afternoon. I'm west coast so we have a bunch of time. I didn't do a stick today because it would just bug me.

No new yet but I should know today. But our bad thing for this trip happened. Our 2 year old came with us and at lunch he vomitted like crazy. Yay. So it looks like I will be home with a sick kid this week. Probably missing my first classes ever because I will get paid for them and if my husband takes time off he probably won't be paid.
