Nursing on demand, avoiding the soother as long as possible, fenugreek and blessed thistle. If I could get it easily in Canada, I would have taken goats rue too...

I ate a ton of lactation cookies...no idea if they actually helped, but they sure were tasty! I also drank mother's milk tea and tried to drink as much water as possible. I'm not sure exactly what helped, but my supply was (and still is at 10 months) great.

Nursing and pumping! More demand, more supply. Plus lots of water (or Gatorade) and making sure you get enough calories.

Fenugreek and getting sufficient calories. I always pumped more if I ate steak than a salad for dinner.

Following! I'm nervous about my supply going down when I go back to work.

Power pumping, I would see a noticeable difference after just a few days. Otherwise, TONS of water, enough calories, and getting a good night's sleep. Basically taking care of myself, which isn't always easy to fit in.

I never gained a full supply but what helped the most was oatmeal, almonds (in butter or milk form), CALORIES, and rest.

Gatorade. This made a huge difference for me. Also, I tried to get at least 40-60 ounces of water along with one 28-32 ounce Gatorade every day and it worked for me with both kids.

I made lactation cookies with plenty of oatmeal and brewer's yeast, and I can always tell the difference by the next day.

More calories, more nursing, 2 gallons of water (20oz was gatorade) a day, having a high protein snack and a glass of water them taking a nap=boom milk.

P.s. I'm exclusively pumping for now. I know that is sort of a game changer.

@Alba4: I see from your profile that your wee babe is just brand new and at that age lots of skin to skin will help with milk supply and lots of nursing / pumping will give your body the message to make milk. I believe LLL recommends nursing 8-12 times in 24 hours.
