My LO is 3.5 months and is primarily breastfed. She has taken a few bottles from DH, others and even me. Two weeks ago she decided she doesn't want to take a bottle anymore. I've tried changing to the level 2 dr. Brown nipple with the dr brown bottle and the tommee tippee bottle and she won't take it. I've been in a different room from her and she still won't take it. She just gets angry. Do I stop trying for today and give her the boob or keep trying? Any advice would be great.

No advice but you have my sympathy. My LO is on strike as well and I posted out of desperation on Friday. If you figure it out please let me know.

Have you tried sleeping in an oversized t shirt and Having whoever gives her the bottle wear it? Or sleep with a receiving blanket and do the same thing...

I'll join the party. LO is also on a bottle strike. She took 1 oz over 5 hours on two separate occasions and then reverse cycled to compensate. She doesn't care whether I'm home or not, whether it's me or DH or my inlaws. Mrs. Jacks wrote a post about her experiences, though I haven't had much luck with her tricks yet. LO isn't interested regardless of temperature or bottle type. My LO is 5 months, so my LLL group suggested making it more novel, like solids. I haven't tried yet, but they suggested trying it in her new (as of yet unused) sippy cups or still semi frozen on a spoon.

my LO went on bottle strike from weeks 6-12. we tried EVERYTHING, but the only thing that worked was when i went back to work and she either took the bottle or starved. i probably wouldn't have tried so hard or stressed out over it so much if i knew that was the only way she'd take it. the first day was rough, the second day was better and now she's a pro (but still prefers boob).

Have you tried completely leaving the house completely?? Sometimes babies can still smell you even if you're in another room.
With my daughter, she went on a bottle strike around 6-weeks... and I didn't successfully get her to take one until she was 6-months. At 6-months, I *had* to go out of town for the weekend, and I was so nervous... but everyone told me that there's no way she would starve herself and they were right. My MIL and SIL babysat her and texted me a picture of her happily sucking down a bottle. It was as if she knew I wasn't home or something.

@Mrs. High Heels: I was out of the house last weekend and she just waited until I got home. I was probably gone 2-3 hours. She definitely should have been hungry.
@rattles: I read Mrs. Jacks post too but so far no dice. I have heard to try the sippy cup but I think at 3.5 months she might still be to young for it? I don't know.
@SleepyMonkey: I go back to work on June 5th so I hope we have this figured out by then.

@Corduroy: I feel your pain. DH was able to get her to take 1 oz when we tried a bait and switch with her and he bounced her around. I think it was enough to distract her to take the bottle. We tried again just now and she didn't go for it.
