When did you start weaning your LO off of bottles? Did you gradually replace the bottle with a sippy? How about at night/before bed?

Good question.. Following! Dd is anti self feeding when it comes to liquids...

We're working on it now. We tackled the whole milk transition first at 12 months and are now starting to work on milk in a cup at 12.5 mo. They do well with straws and sippys, but feeding milk vs water has to be an event for them, not just a graze.
So they each get a bottle after their three main meals. I am attempting a valve-less straw or sippy in place of those bottles now. I still hold each LO and help hold/orient the cup if they want as they get used to it. DD is a less picky drinker and will drink her whole portion herself, she's making it easy on me so far. DS usually drinks half, and needs more coaxing to get that much, and then I pour the rest into a bottle and finish the feed, if he wants the rest. DD seems to like a straw and DS has done better with a sippy so far. We just try a bunch and see what works...I have SO many cups!
They don't get a bedtime bottle other than right after dinner, so in our case it shouldn't be a comfort thing to tackle.
