I know it seems early to be thinking about bussing for this coming September, but with one LO being in preschool and one going to Kindergarten I need to figure this out before Preschool sign ups in a few weeks.

The school bus garage supervisor told me that they will not pick up my 5 year old from our driveway because it is within 200 feet from the "main" road. It's a 30 MPH road, and ours is a 25 mph road. We are the second house in from that main road, about 3 bus lengths from driveway to corner. The bus stop they want my daughter to go to is about 11 houses down, and there are no sidewalks on our side of the road to get her down there unless we cross the street, walk the sidewalk, and then cross back over. My issue is this: If I have to walk her down there, with another kid in tow each morning and each afternoon, would you think it's better off to just drive her to school? Or would you keep fighting for a different bus stop?

With the release of preschool and Kindergarten being within 5 minutes of each other, and crazy busy parking lots I need to figure out what my Kindergartener will be doing for school transportation, otherwise my youngest may not be able to even go to preschool this year if I can't figure out something better with the bussing situation.

I know that is really confusing, but would love some input!
