@tequiero21: You will work out your own hold when the time comes! Doesn't matter what it is called.

You will totally figure it out when the time comes. I mostly hold her in a cross cradle so its more of a c-cup. Not sure how you would really do a u-cup that way.

@tequiero21: My boobs went up one cup size during 3rd trimester, and another cup size once my milk came in, so you may well have more to work with once the time comes!

@Lozza: @Andrea: NO, my boobs have not grown. it's just more full. haha. so sad. i gained like over 35 pounds and i'd say maybe an ounce went into my boobs.
@Oceanis723: even with a football hold (which is what i'm shooting for), i think the c cup sounds more comfy. but then i'm going to try and do twins, so not sure how i'd cup and hold the babies lol.

@tequiero21: haha. were you looking forward to bigger boobs? anyway, my friend with no boobs was the only one of us to EBF her two kids for a whole year+ so you never know. she was such a milk machine. she had a huge freezer stash and even gave the milk to her DOG she had sooo much. amazing.

@tequiero21: This doesn't really address your original question, but this blog has some suggestions for nursing with twins: http://oinks.squeetus.com/2011/02/doubling-your-pleasure-in-which-i-talk-about-boobs-as-udders.html

@chopsuey119: let's hope i'm one of those lucky ones. haha. with my luck, not only do i have small boobs, but i won't be able to feed my babies. =) one thing that keeps me going is that nature isn't that cruel - won't let me incubate 2 babies and not be able to feed them. *crossing fingers*...

If it helps, I think I would have had an easier time with bfing with smaller breasts. I'm now somewhere north of an H cup and, while we've got the hang of it now, the first several days were pretty rough. It was so hard to wrangle a newborn and huge breasts into the right position. I often found myself wishing for more hands. Smaller breasts would have been way easier to manage

@tequiero21 there is definitely an art form to nursing twins and you and your babies will totally figure out what works! It's actually better if your breasts are littl miller because then you probably won't need to hold you breast the entire time you feed them. It's why I don't recommend feeding them at the same time until all three of you are good at it ( it took three weeks for my twins and I). I would nurse one, nurse the other than go pump to establish my milk. Those first weeks it seemed like it was my only focus ( but my little guys weren't very good at latching so I had a little extra work. During that time I did supplement with formula because they had lst their ten percent and I just needed to make sure they got something. After three weeks they got used to nursing and I could do it at the same time but I still needed help. I would get the first one latched then omeone would hand me the second one for me to latch on. By the time they were eight weeks old ( and a little more sturdy I could do it myself. I would lay them both on the pillow then latch each one and when they fell asleep I left them there and just sat with them. It did feel like I spent thee first four months mostly sitting on my couch with that pillow and them eating or sleeping.
Also dont let your milk supply stress you out. My kids pediatrician reminded me that the human body is only meant to carry one baby regularly. That means its only meant to feed one as well. While my babies were nursing only without solid food I ad to give them one formula bottle a day. It was about 1 in the afternoon they would eat ll morning off and on and I always ran out of milk. I gave them each a bottle and they would rest for awhile. It gave me a chance to get more milk and to also give my breasts a little break. Once they started on food I didn't need to supplement anymore. I did feel guilty about the formula at first but I got over it. It also made it easier to go out in public. I knew they would get a bottle once a day so I gave it to them when we went out. It's not as convenient o nurse two as it was one outside of the home. I did figure out how to do it in the car. I just sat between the two car sets and balanced my pillow on the arms of their chairs and did it that way.
With twins it's a little bit more trial and error than a singleton but you and your babies will figure it out.
