Normally I'm a stick-to-the-label kind of person, especially when it comes to stuff like this. Depending on how much you have left, I would suggest using it up but if it's like three canisters, I would finish what you have and then switch.

For DS, we switched to the infant formula sometime around two months but that was mainly because my parents could buy it in bulk at Costco. It was more cost effective and since Infant is 0 to 12 months, we didn't worry about making the switch. To the best of my knowledge (at least to my tastebuds) there's not much difference taste wise so if you did switch, it shouldn't be an issue.

@TurtleDoves: I would say since you've already made the switch and it was due to gassiness, he shouldn't be switched back. I suggest selling them or gifting them to a friend.
